A fine French violin by Frédéric Chaudière, Montpellier 1999 is now available. Expertly crafted and skilfully made, this violin has been made to perform on stage at the highest level.
Tonally it is clean & precise, with good volume and balance across the strings. It has a characterful lower end whilst also being able to deal with all repertoire. Highly recommended for trying out in the workshop.

Frédéric Chaudière
“Trained at the Newark International School of Violin Making, Frederic has been making violins, violas and cellos entirely by hand for nearly 40 years. He uses personal models often inspired by Guarnerius Del Gesù, as well as varnishes of his own composition. Renowned for their realistic patinas and rich timbre, his instruments are powerful and easy to play.
He makes instruments in his workshop at Hotel Magnol, Montpellier, France”
